• May 18,  · The CD version of Art Angels is horrible. The mastering is super compressed which is disappointing compared to Grimes' earlier CDs. None of the songs really have any "life" to them and all of them (but most especially California, Kill V Maim and Pin) sound as if all the instruments are fighting each other for space to breathe/5().

• I am upgrading Grimes "Art Angels" CD to 5-stars - the Mp3 version still deserves 4 stars IMO. This is probably the first time I've bought an Mp3 AND CD album (couldn't help it - I just couldn't wait!). Yet the CD-Version has proven to be WAY better than the Amazon Mp/5().

• Spanning over 14 tracks, the new album features collaborations with Janelle Monáe and newcomer, Taiwanese rapper Aristophanes. It was recorded primarily in her home studio in Los Angeles, CA, where she relocated to in Like all of her previous albums, ‘Art Angels’ was written and recorded entirely as a solo endeavor.

• " Realiti " (stylized as " REALiTi ") is a song by Canadian singer Grimes. Originally slated for release on her scrapped fourth studio album, it was released as a YouTube video on March 8, as a thank you to her fans in Asia. The song was later announced to be included on her album Art Angels.
